My golly, I have read some outstanding and inspiring books, too many to mention here’s a few I think some may be glad to know of, if not already; first book is more of a personal preference.

401 by Ben Smith, he ran 401 marathons in 401 days around the UK 2015-2016, his book is so inspiring, I massaged him, like many other therapists on his epic journey, we shared a connection, which I value so deeply

  • Born to Walk by James Earls
I think every teacher has recommended this one
  • Back Mechanic by Dr Stuart McGill
Written by the great Dr Stuart McGill need I say more?
  • Anything written by John Gibbons
He is so passionate and knowledgeable
  • The Endless Web by Louis Schultz
A brilliant teacher recommended this one years ago
  • Pathology A to Z: A Handbook for Massage Therapists by Kalyani Premkumar
    A useful guide
  • Complementary & Alternative Health by Dr Steve Bratman
    Great for finding facts out
  • Natural Approach to Essential Oils by Jane Lawson
    Amazing for great information
  • The Directory of Essential Oils by Wanda Sellar
    Amazing for instant information
  • The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
Such a valuable read, audio version is excellent
  • Conversations That Make a Difference for Children and Young People by Lisa Cherry
It’s recommended by schools, social workers etc for good reason
  • All books by The Rogue Hypnotist
Great fun, easy read – mostly
  • Winnie the Pooh
The analogies are a great tool (especially Piglet and Eeyore)
  • The North Wind and the Sun
I use this analogy so often, I read it age 4 or 5, it changed how I felt about things and taught me so much
