The UK Massage Championship promises to be the massage highlight of the year, and we’re delighted to be attending as a sponsor.
The UK Massage Championship was founded by Bhavesh T. Joshi (London School of Massage), who recognized the need for a high-standard Championship in the UK with a judging panel comprising experts, teachers and examining bodies. He collaborated with Alan Billington (City Lit) to host the first successful UK Massage Championship at City Lit, London, in September 2023.
The competition now has the approval and backing of the World Massage Council (WMC), which provides, high standards, rules and regulations for such competitions.
As the first international organisation of our kind, FHT has been dedicated to protecting public health by ensuring high standards in training and practice within the therapy industry since 1962. Therefore, becoming a sponsor for the UK Massage Championship was a natural fit for us as we seek to further encourage excellence within our industry.
With over 10,000 members across 350 therapies, FHT is always seeking opportunities that benefit as many of our members as possible. That’s why we’re thrilled that the competition offers six categories, covering a range of complementary, beauty and sports massage therapies. We’re confident you’ll find a category to showcase your talent!
The UK Massage Championship has set out a range of prizes for the winners and runner’s up in each category, including £1000 cash prize, Spinal Backrack and direct entry into the World Massage Championship in 2025 for 1st place.
As an added benefit, the UK Massage Championship has secured professional video and photography services, allowing you to use high-quality clips of the competition for your website and social media.

Where: City Lit, 1-10 Keeley St, London WC2B 4BA
Who: The championship is open to all therapists, both National and International. Visitors: Visitors & Spectators are welcome to attend the event free of charge. No registration is required.
