Highlight what makes you or the person you’re nominating stand out from the crowd. You might like to talk about any remarkable qualities, skills and expertise you think should be recognised.

Are there any specialised areas within the field that you excel in? Perhaps you’ve developed a unique way of treating clients that combines several techniques to provide a holistic healing experience. Consider mentioning if you have expertise in a specific area that provides you with more in depth knowledge when treating clients.

Think about how you might demonstrate your dedication to your work and the ways this positively impacts your clients. You could discuss your skills in communication and how this helps you to discuss your clients needs and tailor their treatments to deliver the best service possible.

Think of Ways You Positively Impact Business

Exceptional skills, professionalism and client satisfaction all positively influence the reputation and growth of business. Stand out in your application by providing examples of initiatives, strategies or practices you’ve implemented have helped to elevate the business side of your practice.

For example, you might have an online presence with a website or social media that has expanded your business reach and increased client engagement. Or you maybe you’ve introduced workshops to generate additional income and educate others. Mention initiatives that provide better value for your clients.

Provide specific examples, include details and measurable outcomes to demonstrate valuable contributions to business success. Showcase your impact of business growth and reputation.

Mention Your Commitment to CPD

Discuss the training programmes, courses or workshops you’ve taken to enhance your skills and increase your knowledge. Demonstrate you dedication to professional improvement by mentioning any professional qualifications you’ve acquired during this period.

Perhaps you attend FHT’s annual Training Conference, complete case studies or partake in quizzes in International Therapist magazine.

Showcase Your Efforts to Champion The Therapy Industry/Positively Impact Your Local Community

Volunteering for charitable events, offering free or discounted sessions to individuals in need or organising educational workshops or seminars are all good examples to mention in your application. Provide specific examples of initiatives or activities you’ve taken part in to support your community and promote awareness about holistic therapy.

Describe the outcomes of your efforts and the ways in which you’d gone above and beyond to make a positive impact.
