
Every month, Action for Happiness produces a calendar packed with daily actions we can take to increase our own happiness and that of others around us.
This March, the charity’s ‘Mindful March’ calendar focuses on helping us to live more fully in the present moment – rather than losing ourselves in regrets about the past or worries about the future.
When noticing how you speak to yourself on day 4, consider some of our suggestions below:
- Mindfully look at yourself in the mirror and point out things you like about yourself.
- Listen to the voice in your head and tell it to stop if you notice negativity creeping in.
- Compliment other people! It may help to train your mind to look for the positives.
