The FHT is thrilled to once again be working with the Stroke Association to provide therapeutic massage to those raising money for the charity at this year’s London Marathon.
The Stroke Association require volunteer therapists on Sunday 22 April 2018, from 12pm-6pm (breaks will be given) at Champagne Charlies, 17, The Arches, Villiers St, London WC2N 6NG. Travel expenses will be covered up to the value of £10 and refreshments (drinks and lunch) will be provided throughout the day.
Volunteers can either give runners a massage while laying down (please bring a portable couch) or provide seated leg massage. Hand sanitisers and towels can be provided on request.
Members must hold a Level 3 or above qualification in body massage, sports massage or sports therapy, accepted by the FHT for membership and insurance purposes. The Stroke Association will require a copy of your public liability insurance and proof of qualification.
