It’s our mission to make the public more aware of our members and the FHT’s Complementary Healthcare Therapist Register, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.
We know that complementary therapies can provide much-needed support to people affected by long-term health conditions, every step of their journey. In fact, our 2016 FHT Member Survey highlighted that 71% of respondents provide treatments to their clients for exactly this reason.
For many years, FHT Fellow Alison Brown has provided ongoing comfort and support to her client Helen Atkinson (pictured). They kindly offered their time and passion for complementary therapies to feature in our new advertising campaign.
The advert will appear in publications read by a highly engaged and health-conscious audience, including:
- Liz Earle Wellbeing – Autumn and Winter issues
- Psychologies – November and December issues
- Natural Health – September, October and November issues
- Your Healthy Living – September and October issues
Further advertising is also planned on Facebook and Google, along with supporting case studies in the press.
This is just the start of the FHT’s ‘My therapist helps me…’ campaign. Look out for further adverts and case studies over the coming months. We’ll also be posting updates on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn – please share/re-tweet to help spread the word!
