Scientists from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed a ‘second skin’ to hide the appearance of wrinkles and eye bags.
The ‘second skin’ is an invisible elastic film that mimics the properties of youthful skin.
The prototype has been tested on the eye bags, forearms and legs of a handful of volunteers with success, and the idea of releasing it as a commercial cosmetic product is currently being explored. They say there is also potential for it to be used for medicines and sun protection.
