We’d just like to say a very big ‘Thank you’ to all those members who attended this year’s Holistic Health show, and a warm ‘Welcome aboard’ to those who joined FHT at the event! It was great to meet you all at our stand.
Held on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd May at the NEC, the show offered professional therapists the opportunity to learn, shop, network and relax, all under one roof.
The FHT CPD Zone proved a huge hit, with many talks sold out long in advance of the show and remaining tickets getting snapped up on the day.
Delegates were able to choose from more than 20 seminars and workshop demonstrations, presented by leading industry experts. Topics included cancer care, aromatherapy and emotions, reiki for stress release, massage and dementia, reflexology in pain management, holistic skin care and facials, ear acupuncture, beauty with crystals, being in balance, building a successful salon, building a tribe on Facebook, and more.
Delegates also had the chance to shop at the adjoining exhibition in between talks, and learn about the latest products and training. And with self-care being a very important element of therapy practice, it was good to see the ever-popular Chill Out Zone busy throughout the two-day event, helping therapists to relax and unwind with a range of taster treatments.
The addition of a small but busy careers fair this year also provided FHT with the opportunity to meet therapy students and tutors, eager to learn more about the UK’s largest and leading professional association.
We’ve already received some terrific feedback from those of you who were kind enough to fill out and return a form at the event. Congratulations to Hinna Kausar-Bashir, who won our feedback prize draw and will receive a £25 One4all Gift Card.
If you didn’t have the chance to provide feedback on the day, we’d still welcome your comments, as this will help us improve future FHT events. Please email these to firstname.lastname@example.org
