FHT Awards Dinner and Training Congress a buzzing success

We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all those who joined us for our 2015 Gala Awards Dinner and Training Congress this year, making it yet another truly enjoyable and successful FHT event.

Held at the Holiday Inn at Stratford-upon-Avon, this was the first year that we have hosted the awards presentation and training congress back-to-back and it was lovely to see so many of our members, speakers and exhibitors making ‘the best of both’.

Celebrating excellence

At our gala dinner, FHT’s President, Jennifer Wayte, and other Governing Council members from the judging panel, were delighted to present certificates and trophies to no less than 17 deserving members present on the night, who were awarded Winner, Highly Commended and Commended as part of this year’s awards. In addition, Jennifer presented a special President’s Award and three Senior Fellowships, before the evening was rounded off with a DJ and dancing. Train to gain

Train to gainOn the Sunday morning, a small group of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed members enjoyed an early yoga session before the main seminar programme got underway. Those attending the congress enjoyed a wide range of different talks, covering topics such as shoulder and neck pain; developing your sensitivity; massage in cancer care; analysing and treating dark skin; aroma and the emotions; crystal light therapy; ayurveda and reflexology.

A select exhibition also offered delegates the opportunity to shop for some new and exciting products and training before and after sessions.

Feedback prize draw winners

Thank you to all of those members who filled out and returned our feedback forms. Your comments will be shared with all FHT staff and board members and we will endeavour, as always, to improve future member events, based on your feedback.

The winners of our feedback prize draw are Nicole Neillings, MFHT, who will receive a £25 One4all gift card and Mr J Lennon, MFHT, who will receive a Weleda goody bag.

Please note that you can still provide your feedback to events@fht.org.uk if you didn’t have a chance on the day.

And finally…

… we would like to thank all of our 2015 speakers and exhibitors for supporting this FHT event, along with our Excellence Awards sponsors (Institute for Optimum Nutrition, Botanicals, Global Payments, Zephorium, Holistic Health and Physique Management).
