Top ten reasons for being an FHT member #6: Discounted continuingprofessional learning

The FHT prides itself on providing high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training, that is both affordable and flexible, to suit the needs of our members. This includes online learning, qualifications, short courses, and an annual Training Congress where you can learn and mingle (2015 details coming soon). Many of our local support groups also organise training and workshops for those who regularly attend their meetings, and we also signpost our members to free online training, where relevant to practising therapists.

CPD is an essential part of good professional practice as well as a fundamental principle of professional ethics. For the public, service users and employers, CPD provides the reassurance that as individuals, and as a profession, FHT members are committed to upholding standards.
