Congratulations to Mary Bolton for winning our International Therapist summer spiral competition. She won Urban Veda’s Dual-Sided Muslin Cleansing Cloths, as featured in the summer edition’s Mindful Marketplace, and a £20 National Book Token.
“I am inspired by the journal every season,” Mary said, “and was so pleased to be the winner of the spiral competition.”
Mary is a retired nurse/midwife who has also practiced reflexology since 2005. She has a passion for people and what makes us all tick. Mary is interested in a holistic approach to understanding the wider determinants of health in our communities, encompassing everything from the air we breathe, green spaces, and our social support through family and community. She has a small a room in her home which she uses for therapies for family, friends, and anyone who gets in touch with her.
She has also just completed a year working at her local hospice, offering M Technique and reflexology for patients approaching the end of their lives.
