Congratulations to the winner of our winter competition…

Congratulations to Jo Scoble for winning our International Therapist Winter 2024/25 competition. They won an FHT themed bundle, which included a tote bag, a shirt, a notebook and pen, a wax melt, and a candle, along with some appointment cards and consultation forms.

Jo Scoble is a qualified massage and crystal therapist based in the North Shropshire/Staffordshire border. They have a PhD in Biology but left their research career in evolutionary microbiology a decade ago due to ill-health.

During their time studying for their PhD in 2008-2013 working Jo did an ‘Introduction to Massage’ course and was famed for their ‘magic hands’.

In January 2013, Jo knew it was time to top up their skills and enrolled in a VTCT course, which was running in Chester. It took 18 months for Jo to complete their diploma in Classical Swedish Massage alongside working full-time as a business manager at a local blacksmith.

Once qualified, Jo opened their new business, Massagic Therapy, in a small room at the back of the hairdressers that their mum goes to. Taking a leap of faith, Jo went full-time in January 2025, and their business has grown strongly ever since, with new clients booking in every week.
