These awards honour FHT members who go above and beyond, showcasing their dedication to professional growth, high standards in therapy and commitment to enhancing the health and wellbeing of their clients.
We’re excited to announce that the FHT Volunteer Service Award 2024 goes to:
Andrea Porritt – In Harmony Reflexology
Andrea has been awarded the Volunteer Service Award for her outstanding commitment to supporting NHS staff wellbeing through her reflexology and Indian head massage services. Since January 2021, Andrea has volunteered between 80-100 hours across Warrington and Halton Hospitals, working closely with the Wellbeing Team to provide stress-relief treatments to staff from all departments, including ICU, theater, nursing, and even administrative roles. Her dedication began at the height of the pandemic, driven by a desire to give back to those on the frontlines. Through her volunteer work, Andrea has helped countless staff recognise the importance of self-care and manage the impact of stress, making a profound difference in their lives.
