On Wednesday 5th June 2024, we held our LSG in Eastbourne to cover 2 CPD points in Indian Head Massage.

We had 11 therapists attend and started the enjoyable session by discussing the histories and benefits of the wonderful seated massage.

Then, we gently massaged our “Marma points”, to our face, scalp and neck, which all felt very lovely. We then performed and experienced an Indian Head Massage routine with a guided demonstration by Beverley Collison, LSG Co-Ordinator.

Teas and coffees were served with some blueberry muffins and chocolate berry squares made by the lovely Linda. 

We spent time noting the similarities of Indian Head Massage to the other wonderful therapies we offer, and therapists shared their favourite techniques used in IHM.

At the end of the session, printed routines were available to take home to reinforce therapists’ learning.
