The National Hair and Beauty Federation (NHBF) has launched it’s latest State of the Industry survey, which can be completed by clicking the link below.
The survey is aimed at examining the different challenges faced by the hair and barbering sector, including the impact of wage hikes, changes in energy subsidies, rent and overheads.
The survey is a short questionnaire that takes around eight minutes to complete and assesses the sector’s achievements and obstacles.
The evidence collected from the survey will be used to lobby the government for greater representation and support from policymakers. This includes presenting the consequences of reduced energy bill subsidies and fluctuating footfall.
The findings will also serve as evidence for the Low Pay Commission, an independent body that advises the UK government on the National Minimum Wage.
State of the Industry surveys produce useful information for the FHT and other stakeholders in pushing for change across the service sector.
