Create your own beeswax wraps

In International Therapist, Winter 2021 (issue 135), we featured a step-by-step guide to creating your own beeswax wraps.

These wraps can be easily made for use at home, or as a gift for a client. They are an eco-friendly alternative to clingfilm as they can easily be wiped down and re-used.

When creating this feature, we kept in mind that the project should have little-to-no impact on the environment so suggested using fabric from an old pillowcase and using natural dyes such as turmeric, berries and red cabbage.

Read our create your own feature, as published in International Therapist, Winter 2021.

This feature is the second in a series of craft projects for FHT members to try at home. Do you know of any craft projects that you think other therapists might like to try? We would love to know more, simply email our Deputy Editor, Leanne Sheill, at
