As the headline sponsor of Chamberlain Dunn’s Complementary Therapy Awards, the FHT has been invited to put forward industry experts to promote the health benefits of complementary therapy on UK Health Radio.
Hear the latest of these interviews, with Nana Akua (aka LadyXsize) talking to FHT member, Dr Julie McCullough, about the benefits of reflexology, with a particular focus on antenatal care.
Julie is a research associate at Ulster University. As part of her PhD, she joined an established research team investigating the impact of antenatal reflexology on women experiencing stress caused by pregnancy-related low back and/or pelvic girdle pain. The findings of the trial were very positive, which Julie shared in an article in International Therapist and will also be discussing at our FHT Conference on 29 November, at The King’s Fund, London.
The interview is available now, on LadyXsize’s UK Health Radio webpage
