The Stroke Association would like to hear from FHT members interested in providing therapeutic massage to cyclists at the Escape the City Bike Ride in London.

The Stroke Association requires volunteer therapists on Sunday 30 September 2018, from 12pm-5.30pm (breaks will be given) at Kings House Sports Grounds, Riverside Drive, Chiswick, London W4 2SH. Travel expenses will be covered up to the value of £15 and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. The nearest train station (Barnes Bridge) is a 10-minute walk from the venue and parking is available on site.

Volunteers are asked to bring their own equipment, such as massage couches, oils and towels, and are welcome to use the opportunity to promote their services, with business cards and other marketing materials.

Members must hold a Level 3 or above qualification in body massage, sports massage or sports therapy, accepted by the FHT for membership and insurance purposes. The Stroke Association will require a copy of your public liability insurance and proof of qualification.

If you would like to give your time and help out those raising money for a great cause, please contact Emma at Emma.Evans@stroke.org.uk or T. 020 7940 1357. Please provide your FHT membership number and full name when getting in touch.

If you do get involved please let the FHT know at dralls@fht.org.uk – so we can celebrate your involvement in International Therapist and online.
