Diet changes can improve sleep, says US study

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have found that weight loss due to dietary changes can improve sleep at any weight. The study, published in the journal Sleep, measured the sleeping patterns of mice over an eight-week period, with one group of mice eating normally and another group on a high fat diet. The latter group slept for an average of one hour longer each day, which is believed to be linked to the differences in diet.
