Skin cancer spot check

An article published in the Daily Mail about a 59-year old lady who had a recurring spot on her nose highlights how the signs of skin cancer can potentially go unrecognised for some time. Luckily for Joy Yaffe, the lady featured in the article, a cosmetic beauty doctor in France advised her to have a biopsy, and just weeks later, she was receiving treatment for a squamous cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer.
