A GROWING AREA OF THERAPY WORK.

19th May, 1.45 – 4.30pm
FHT Annual Training Congress @ NEC, Birmingham

Michele Broom runs a busy on-site massage practice in the Bristol, Bath and Swindon area, offering seated massage, reflexology, deep tissue, Indian head and aromatherapy massage. Michele lectured for the City of Bristol College for four years at diploma level, is a Fellow of the FHT and was a commended Tutor of the Year at last year’s FHT Excellence in Education awards. She currently teaches warm bamboo therapy, hot stone therapy, thermal auricular therapy and on-site/acupressure massage courses for Teach Therapy in Newport, Wales.

Seated acupressure is a must-have therapy if you are looking to do corporate work and festivals – a growing area of therapy work. This workshop will outline the advantages of this versatile treatment, showing you how to use the chairs with plenty of time to practice your techniques, plus giving you useful tips on how to approach new clients once you go on to qualify. You will learn techniques to relax and soothe your client, yet refresh them ready for a day at the office.
