FHT supports National Transplant Week 9th-15th July

It’s National Transplant Week and this year the campaign is not just focusing on encouraging more people to join the NHS Organ Donor Register but also wants to highlight the importance of passing on the message that you’ve registered to your friends and family.

We know that most families would agree to donation if they knew it was their loved one’s wish. In fact 95% of families will agree to donation if a loved one has joined the register and has discussed their wishes. However, this drops to 41% if people have not registered and have not told their family of their donation wishes.
