Nicky Gee (BCT Workshops) tells us about herself and her FHT Accredited Workshops ahead of her FHT Training Conference 2023 seminar, which you can find here.
When I reached the point in my life where I thought “the kids have grown up enough to do what they want and now it’s time for me to do what I want”, I discovered the therapies and workshops that I offer today!
I love creating jewellery, and have done so since I was in 5th year (that’s the old 5th year, not today’s Year 5…KS2?!) in an after school club, learning silversmithing. How cool was that?!
Jewellery then sparked an interest in gems, which led to crystals, which led to a great interest in the vibrational energy of crystals and learning and experience what they were all about. It eventually led to the practice of Reiki, progressing from student to Master/Teacher, and then to therapies being offered in crystals and Usui Reiki… to where I am now. I have Crystal Introduction workshops accredited by the FHT up and running in my summer house in Fleetwood, and I have just finished writing Level one and two Usui Reiki, which will be the next workshops to be offered.
Teaching is the most basic way of sharing your passions, and mine is vibrational energy through crystals and working with reiki too, so I then qualified to teach (AET) to see peoples faces light up as the information they have just been reading or listening too suddenly takes shape and becomes real. I love to see them experience it for themselves, which has happened quite a few times in the Crystal Workshop! Well, you just can’t beat that!
Talking of sharing my passion, I have put my hand up to share with you through my FHT seminar titled ‘What Do You See?’. The idea that you can observe energy from crystals, as well as feel and be totally aware of the vibrational energy, is something to behold!
Crystals work great with Reiki and you will find out all about this in the seminar. It’s good to open your mind to new experiences, and to become aware of there being so much more in the world than what we were taught at school (as you probably already know). I am unsure if any of my teachers would have known what the chakras are ,and how aligned they could or could not be?
So, for 2023 I am sending out to the universe that I am here and I wish to share my passions for art, crystals and reiki, and I really want to combine these into an amazing workshop, where I can also use my counselling skills to create a positive place for talking without thought, and speaking without thinking and creating without studying – allowing free form of the individual to create as they please!
