MAC cosmetics takes us back to the nifty 1950s with its newest range inspired by the ‘Archie’ comics. More specifically the collection is centred around Betty and Veronica and aptly named ‘Archie’s Girls’.

Almost split into two sub-collections, the Betty products are sweet and light with product names such as ‘Girl Next Door’ and ‘Stay Sweet’ all in girly, saccharine colours such as cotton candy pink nd perfect peach. In direct contrast, Veronica’s items introduce a vamped-up element to the collection, featuring more brazen names and dark seductive such as Double Trouble and Boyfriend Stealer in deep navy and dark berry.

As well as cosmetics, the range extends to accessories such as makeup brushes and bags, compact mirrors and totes.

The collection goes on sale online and across MAC store locations from 7th February.
